Care One Bit Inc, a 501 ( c ) 3 status nonprofit humanitarian organization committed to helping the children who through no fault of their own are powerless to help themselves. Care one bit programs help children and families in the northeastern region of Haiti by providing food, medical care to the children and safe shelter with good sanitation to their families. although, ultimately, will provide a way to empower the Haitian people so that they can become more valuable and make a difference in their lives and community.

 

Haiti is one of the poorest countries in the western hemisphere. The United Nations has reported that everyday thousand of children die in Haiti due to starvation. AIDS and HIV have also orphaned millions of children, leaving them alone to fend for themselves

 

Moreover, more than 1.5 million of these children live in the slums of Haiti, surrounded by garbage. Most have no roads, no running water and no electricity

 

These conditions of extreme hunger and starvation lead to malnutrition, sickness and possibly death for the youth of Haiti. Hunger is an agonizing death, claiming its youngest victims by wearing down the child's body.

 

In turn, the malnourished are further susceptible to colds, malaria, diarrhea, infections, skin problems and other diseases. Your efforts can help end this the devastating cycle and make a great difference to the children of Haiti.
